office door vandalism
today when i got to school, i noticed that someone had written on one of the signs i have on my office door. i've had AR-related stuff on my office door (and inside my office) for a couple of years now at least, but no one has ever done anything sassy until today.
one of the more "popular" (as in, generates some of the most commentary) signs on my door is the familiar "i am not a nugget" chick from PeTA. i enlarged the design to a full 8.5x11, colored him in with markers, and put him smack in the middle of my door. people comment on him a lot. anyhoodle, today i walked up to unlock my door and i noticed that some hilarious and wildly intelligent person wrote "yes you are" along the bottom. sigh.
so, i pulled it down and now i get to decide what to put up in its place. i'm trying to decide if i should go with something cute (in the same vein of what i removed), somber, shocking, or cranky. heh. for the record, the other things on my door right now are: (a) an ignorance is not bliss bumper sticker, (b) a got veal? sign, (c) a boy on a stick and slither comic, (d) a poster about domestic violence against pets, and (e) a cool "see her as more than a meal" poster from CoK. i have a few stickers kicking around i could put up, or i could find some other 8.5x11 signage on the intarweb somewhere, or... not sure. i'll keep you posted.

Oh, those hilarious and wildly intelligent people. I don't think non-vegan hostility would make me anywhere near as cranky if it weren't so uninspired...

Why do people have to be jerks?
What about a sign for Peaceable Kingdom? Can you get your school to do a screening of it as well? I've seen one of their posters, and it is really nice, though I don't think it has such an obvious message.
Or you could print out one of peaceful prairie's things. They're pretty poignant and to the point.
I want to see a picture of the door! :)

thanks for the ideas! i was looking at peaceful prairie's stuff the other day as a possible idea--great minds think alike. :) when i figure out what to put up, i'll take a picture just for you, how's that?
