starstruck
you may recall that i've been watching living with ed, a reality show about ed begley jr.'s green way of living. i get a huge kick out of it, and right now i think it's in reruns, but i've kept it on my series manager just in case something airs that i haven't seen yet.
anyhow, one day i was poking around on the website for the show, and i noticed that there was an "ask ed" feature. i thought, aw, what the heck, and i submitted a question. i pretended not to care if i heard back or not, but secretly i was tOtally excited about the idea that ed begley jr. might email me back. well guess what? he did!
i was sitting at my computer around 1am one night, and my email bing-bonged at me to tell me i'd received a new message, and sure enough it was from ed begley jr.! i couldn't believe it; i was so excited. it was a brief message, basically telling me about how and when he decided to go vegan, but it was AN EMAIL FROM A FAMOUS PERSON! as a result of my ridiculous dorkitude, i told a lot of people who probably couldn't have cared less, and now i'm telling you.
(p.s. hi. i'm back.)

Welcome back. :-)
Love the word "dorkitude." Must use.

So what do you think of Ed's wife (as portrayed on the show)? Do you think she's for real, or do you think she is exaggerating her reactions to EVERYthing just because it's on TV? And, come on, don't you think they should splurge on a new oven? ;)
Oh yeah, welcome back! I've missed your blogs.

thanks guys!
quagga--his wife kind of cracks me up. i really admire the way they can make things work when they're so obviously different--they both have a pretty healthy sense of humor. i do think she plays to the cameras a bit, but i have to say, it seems like she would live a VERY different life if she weren't in that house. ;) that said, it seems like she respects him a great deal and she does "play along" pretty well for someone who doesn't necessarily agree with the whole idea. heh.
also? i LOVED their fancy new recycled glass countertop!
